Born in 1992 in Jerusalem. Graduated from the animation department at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem (BFA), with a focus on experimental techniques, mainly animated silk screen prints.
“A LOVE LETTER TO THE ONE I MADE UP” (graduation film, 2017) was screened at many film and animation festivals around the world including Annecy festival, Ottawa animation festival, leeds international film festival. The film was awarded, among others, the Special Golden Jabberwocky, at Etiuda & Anima Festival 2017; the Vimeo staff pick award at the Animafest Zagreb 2018; the Q-21 residency program at the Tricky Women Festival.
In 2019 following the Q21 residency award, I created the trailer for the 2020 tricky women festival in Vienna.
Currently working on a short independent film named VIA DOLOROSA produced by MIYU. The film is an animated documentary following teenage life in Jerusalem from a personal perspective.
My practice consists of printing animated frames in various analog techniques such as silver gelatin print, cyanotype and silk screen print, drawing inspiration from the history of photography and early photographic techniques alongside soviet design in an attempt to combine such aesthetics with documentary practices.
